Rough day for the Denver Broncos!
by Broncoblogger on Nov.01, 2009, under Bronco Coaching, Bronco Defense, Broncos Offense, Denver Broncos, Denver Sports
Well, all good things must come to an end..
The broncos looked a little off this week. They played hard, but the Ravens seemed to want it more! I am not sure why the Broncos offense could not move the ball..was it because the Raven defense was so good or was the Bronco offense just not in sync? The Baltimore Ravens had a must win situation because 3-4 would be tough to come back from.
They had a good first half, but that kickoff return for a touchdown by the Ravens at the start of the second half, took the air out of the Broncos. As soon as the Ravens got that 9 point lead, the defense came alive and shut Denver down.
The Broncos defense played a good game, but were on the field too long in the second half to keep Baltimore from scoring. The Broncos couldn’t run the ball and had a hard time passing..The second half adjustments that Coach McDaniels had done so well, seemed to work on the first drive of the second half when the Broncos moved down the field and scored a touchdown (with a little help from a couple of penalties.) But the Raven offense also came to life and scored some points of their own. The difference seemed to be that the Raven offense had longer, sustained drives, that kept the Broncos defense on the field and wore them down.
I still believe the Broncos are a great team and they had an off week, but also ran into a team that was hungry for a win. I think Denver will beat the Steelers on Monday night and be back on track.. I know it is a bold statement, but winning at home is crucial this year and think the Broncos can do that! I think Coach McDaniels will have the Broncos ready because he was not happy with the performance today!

Rock Bottom Brewing Denver Colorado
by admin on Jul.19, 2009, under Brew Events, Brew Reviews, Denver Restaurants, Micro Breweries
Touring the Brewery part of Rock Bottom Brewery.. a brew dudes’ dream come true!
The tour was a ton of fun.. We got to see the vats they brewed the beer in and the brew masters quarters. John was very knowledgeable made you feel right at home when he spoke.
Got a tour of the Brewing area and a chance to talk to the Brew Master-John McClure..he has been the Brew Master at Rock Bottom Downtown for 11 years and been brewing for 17 years.

John does an incredible job putting together these brews four days a week. Rock Bottom has 18 brews on tap right now..oops! I mean 17 because the Cider brew he made disappeared so fast! ( I guess it was a little bit popular.)

Rock Bottom Downtown Denver was the 1st Rock Bottom restaurant..it was named this because it was the bottom of the Prudential building(slogan-you got a piece of the Rock) You Have Not Been To Denver Until You Have Been To ROCK BOTTOM!!

The Assistant Brew Master is Doug.. he created the New Brew called The American Dream..Crystal Malt and dry hopped..mmm, the brew was awesome!!

The Brew Masters choice was Deep Drought Stout.. it had a good coffee flavor and a smooth taste that went down good!!
Hearing about the different brews like the Saison brewed at 85 degrees and carbonated or the other brews and how they come up with the new ideas on the brews coming out.
We were quite the brew crew!

On July 23rd 2009, they are coming out with a Strawberry Blonde Ale..sounds like an awesome brew to me..count me in to check it out!!

This is the face of a happy brew dude with new microbrew logo glasses to chill in the freezer. These glasses with the 6 pack of 22 oz bombers sell for $29.95.
Oh and…. go ahead and park in their garage… they validate parking… No one told me!

The Dusty Boot Restaurant Foxfield Colorado
by BrewDude on Jul.13, 2009, under Denver Restaurants
My Restaurant Review for the Dusty Boot in Foxfield CO.
Had a great meal the other day @ The Dusty Boot at Foxfield Colorado. Started out with the Steak Tips..yum! The marinate of teriyaki with the chimichuri salsa was incredible!!!

Then my wife had the Boot Burger..1/2 pound of beef, topped with jalapeno jack cheese, bacon, guac and fried onions. this will fill up even the hearty eater and the french fries are tasty and crisp!!!

I had the Ribs..the bbq sauce is made with Guiness Stout .. Awesome flavor and lots of meat! They even have a special on Tuesday Nights..BBQ Ribs and Chix for $16.99 (call and check the price for sure-but a great deal!!)

Finished out the night with a dessert, which was vanilla ice cream sandwiched between 2 large home made chocolate chip cookies .. so large it was big enough for 2 to 4 people!!

This place is a little tricky to find but worth the trip. It’s just South of the Mann Chinese Theaters off of Parker Road and just East of Arapaho Road in Centennial / Foxfield Colorado.
Bronco Training Camp!!
by Broncoblogger on Jul.10, 2009, under Bronco Coaching, Bronco Defense, Broncos Offense, Denver Broncos, Denver Sports
Well, Bronco Training Camp is just around the corner- July 31st…Can’t wait!!
I love football..especially the Broncos!
It will be fun to see the competition throughout camp and see how many new starters there will be..going to a 3-4 defense will be quite a change in its self, not to mention the changes in offense! Should be an exciting season coming up..no matter how good or bad they do, we are looking at the dawning of a new Bronco team…I will be backing them all the way (Diehard fan!!)
I Wonder what part Brandon Marshall will play in the teams success or defeat..will he be a distraction..will the Broncos trade him or will he come out on FIRE and blow away everyones expectation..Let me know what you think?
Check out this video on the best of Brandon Marshall in his 2008 Denver Broncos Season!
